Eric's life... now 1000% more stalkable!

Monday I went to Fattomanno, this super high quality shoe shop downtown, off a side street, which has no noticeable markers on the street. I got these shoes that have this greyish green suede where the laces are, and this amazingly soft black leather like they have in luxury cars.

I also dropped off a pair of shoes at a company named Artesenal, in order to add suede to the soles to a couple of women's shoes. I had the foresight to make outlines of people's feet in order to get a good fit for super cheap shoes which I bought.

At the Christmas party, I met this older, very well known milonguero named Tete. Monday evening I was able to take a class with him, although I had to call a gal up last minute (who I met through the owner of the Hungarian restaurant) in order to be able to take it, since it required a partner.

On the very left, is Jorge's step daughter, and Rocio in the middle, who I took Tete's class with.

The two ladies above I saw on the street prior to the class, and recognized them from Villa Malcolm, which was a super coincedence.

For me, it was a lot of fun, since I learned a new step that I was able to do immediately, as well as really getting a better sense of tango waltz. One thing that you might be able to remember is how you have been preparing to do something, perhaps an idea that you were interested in executing. Then, you saw it in action, and with only a bit of effort, you were able to do it to.

During the class, I saw Laura and Luca, who I met at Villa Malcom. We headed down to the Confiteria Ideal, which wasn't really good that night. Fortunately, I had my pick of the dancers, so I had fun anyway. As an added bonus ,the 2005 tango world champs did a mini-show. Three dances, the last one rehearsed, all of super quality. Bear in mind, they are about 23 years old. For the last song, one of the woman's shoes fell off, and she just kept going. Considering how showy the tango was, I was damn impressed. Unfortunately I couldn't take video.

That night I met up with a younger tango teacher who I happened to recognize from La Viruta. She happened to be sitting next to the tango champs, and I was able to get a couple of tandas with her. Surprisingly, she gave me digits without asking, maybe I can have her act as my partner for a couple of private lessons, and save some cash.
