Eric's life... now 1000% more stalkable!

Well damn, the Xmas party that I went to on Saturday at 11 pm was arguably the best damn party I've ever been to. It was on Avenida de Mayo, on the top of a 7 story building, with an asado (grill with brick housing).

I was lucky to get invited, to say the least. Perhaps it was the treats that I handed out that were devoured by my host (Ricarda) and two other housemates. Luckily, Ricarda's friend wasn't able to make it.

A large bunch of amazing dancers that I knew, including Ney, Stephanie, Isaac, and others. I ran into Carlos, a gentleman from the UK with dreadlocks who now lives in BA, and I have an amazing picture of the balcony with this great picture of Buenos Aires.

I went to La Viruta with a group afterwards, and I had to actually ask for dances verbally instead of eye contact, since I've not broken into some of the cliques.

The next day, I went to Tango Brujo. The place looked like Hogwarts, with dark corners and a little bit of a tower, littered with goodies. I got some dance sneakers that were covered in brown suede, that are super comfy.

I headed to a private class from Gabriel Glagovsky. He has an entire system of body mechanics, and relating it to the body's structures. I went to a tango practice at Villa Malcolm, with a ton of amazing dancers, and I know that Gabi's lesson was good, because all of my dance was screwed up at first. Still, I got into the groove, and I feel like things have changed for me fundamentally.

Afterwards, me, David, Isaac, and a guy from San Fran. The whole thing was a riot, and I've definately found some "bros" in BA. Oh and I had a ton of fun busting on our waitress, who looked like the latina Sandra Bullock.

I bought a camera that day, so I'll show some pics later. We had meat on the parilla, which was interesting, but the liver, intestines, and fat stuff, were not too palatable to most of us (though I did have intestines and liver). Anyway, we went to Salon Canning, which was a pretty darn cool milonga. One of the highlights was a somewhat frail old man in a full suit and felt hat dancing tango with a young lady to a rock song.

This pic has El Flaco on the left, Tete on the right, and a performance at Salon Canning.

Anyway, I'm in a rush, since I'm going to meet up with some people and head downtown for a class with this old milonguero named Tete, who I saw at the party two days ago, although I've heard about him a lot before.
