This weekend I'm headed to LA for a Carlos Yannacanedo workshop. I'll be staying at Mitra and Stefan's after, and I'll spend Sunday in LA. Tonight, I've decided to spend my birthday at the University of California Irvine Hillel. I figure, my birthday is almost an arbitrary thing, and I can celebrate it near that date. Observing the sabbath makes sense, if I want my birthday to be an ideal day in my life. Who knows, maybe I'll get plastered with my jewish bretheren.
